Santa Rosa, California is home to Santa Rosa Luther Burbank Lodge No. 57.
Luther Burbank was not only one of Santa Rosa's most famous citizens, he was also a practicing high level Freemason. His Santa Rosa home hosted other celebrity freemasons, like Henry Ford and Thomas A. Edison.
In 1907, Burbank published an "essay on childrearing", called The Training of the Human Plant. In it, he advocated improved treatment of children, cultural homogenization and replacement in education, and management of reproduction and development in both a eugenic and euthenic manner, though he does not directly reference either. His support for eugenic methods is couched in his horticultural methodology and he makes direct analogies between the two, comparing the population of the United States to a massive outcrossing experiment:
We are more crossed than any other nation in the history of the world, and here we meet the same results that are always seen in a much-crossed race of plants: all the worst as well as all the best qualities of each are brought out in their fullest intensities. When all the necessary crossing has been done, then comes the elimination, the work of refining, until we shall get an ultimate product that should be the finest race ever.
— Luther Burbank, The Training of the Human Plant, 1907, page 11.
Along with breeding plants, Burbank believed human beings should be selectively bred, and he was active in the American eugenics movement and wrote in publications of the American Breeders' Association as an honorary member. He was also elected to the ABA's Committee on Eugenics in 1906. As a eugenicist, he promoted genetic discrimination. In Burbank's book, The Training of the Human Plant he wrote:
I have constantly been impressed with the similarity between the organization and development of plant and human life. … I have come to find in the crossing of species and in selection, wisely directed, a great and powerful instrument for the transformation of the vegetable kingdom along lines that lead constantly upward. The crossing of species is to me paramount. Upon it, wisely directed and accompanied by a rigid selection of the best and as rigid an exclusion of the poorest, rests the hope of all progress. The mere crossing of species, unaccompanied by selection, wise supervision, intelligent care, and the utmost patience, is not likely to result in marked good, and may result in vast harm.

Per a 2020 article from ABC 7 News:
Where Burbank becomes controversial is his study of eugenics. He theorized that as we can improve plant species by interbreeding, we could do the same with people. Burbank even wrote an essay entitled, "The Training of the Human Plant."
"...And that is reflected in Nazi-ism," opined De La Cruz. "It's in many movements and attempts of white people to remove the humanity of people of color. I am not interested in celebrating the eugenics movement. Not interested in celebrating people who owned other people because of the color of their skin."
At a primarily BIPOC campus, Luther Burbank Elementary School, Santa Rosa City Schools (SRCS) continues to hire Caucasian staff who rarely know Spanish, yet are working with Spanish-speaking children to develop IEPs.
I am not sure if these children provided permission for their photos to be released, but I pulled them from the SRCS public Facebook page.
Ms. Tori Anna Sophia Denna was recently hired with SRCS as a para-educator for special education at Luther Burbank Elementary School.
Background check search tools indicated that Ms. Denna has also used the surname Langfitt.
Ms. Langfitt appears to come from a very wealthy Caucasian Family in Napa County, so it’s odd for her to take a position with BIPOC children making approximately $30k per year.
As the former Executive Assistant to the Board & Superintendent of SRCS, I have never seen someone in Ms. Denna’s role receive a waiver and emergency permit for substitute teaching before. I find that odd…
Ms. Langfitt appeared to be a former American Idol contestant around 12 years ago.
Her LinkedIn bio states:
Ever since I was a small child, my parents knew I had a special gift: an incredible ear. Understanding that talents and natural abilities need to be nurtured, they put me in a professional children's choir. During my 10 years with this choir, I traveled the world singing and learning about music and sound. I was featured as a soloist on various choir CDs since the age of 8, learning the ins and outs of the recording studio and process. This experience sparked my interest in the possibilities of music and sound. Along with a love of music, I developed a love of film, television, and games. When I heard about the Music Production and Sound Design for Visual Media degree program at AAU, I immediately applied. I am finishing my second year, working towards a BFA. My dream is to work for Disney, DreamWorks, Pixar, or Warner Bros. as a Sound Designer.
So….why is she working with Spanish-speaking Latino children?
It appears that Ms. Tori Langfitt has a sister named Ms. Taylor Langfitt.
Ms. Taylor Langfitt appeared to be a pageant contestant for the Cayman Islands government.
It appears that the mother of these two women, Ms. Patricia ‘Trish’ Langfitt, was the former Miss Cayman Islands 1977.
And then there’s the article below that describes the second part of this story…
Ms. Laura Ainsworth is my co-defendant. Her husband, Mr. Brett Ainsworth, elementary school teacher at Luther Burbank, is the former HR Director at Sonoma Valley Boys & Girls Club.
Ms. Ainsworth and I are being sued for defamation by Sonoma Valley Boys & Girls Club for speaking out to protect Latino children who were raped and did not receive restitution. Oddly’ Luther Burbank Elementary School is also partnered with Boys & Girls Club.
Mr. Brett Ainsworth allegedly joined the Demolay as a youth & freemasons at the age of 21, as confirmed in his text messages. He did not appear to have a background in teaching, but was hired at SRCS as a teacher after being dismissed from Boys & Girls Club for refusing to sign an illegal NDA.
Recently, Ms. Ainsworth witnessed Mr. Brett Ainsworth & Ms. Tori Denna’s interaction in front of a Latino student and his mother at an SRCS school site. Mr. Ainsworth became irate and called the police because a bottle of ranch dressing was spilled at the campus. I recorded the conversation between the Santa Rosa Police, Ms. Ainsworth and I regarding the ranch dressing incident. I will post it shortly.
