Ya-Ka-Ama Indian Ed. Bans Alleged Dog Rapist & Pedophile From Property
26 yr. old Jeremiah Ortega has been permanently banned from Ya-Ka-Ama property & events after numerous community members expressed that he is unsafe
John Nativeblood, an anonymous advocate(s) for Northern California Native Americans, has repeatedly shed light on local child predator Jeremiah Ortega, a former lead dancer for the Tri County Pomo Dancers.
Several years ago, one of Mr. Ortega’s Facebook friends, Wu Zetian, posted the following conversation to his comments section.
As Native Americans continually expressed concerns about Mr. Ortega’s previous community involvement, Ya-Ka-Ama Indian Education & Development, Inc. of Forestville, California issued the following statement:
Mr. Ortega remains in criminal custody, with no bail, while facing felony charges for allegedly raping small dogs, having possession of child pornography, and forcible lewd acts upon a child under the age of 14.
His next court appearance is scheduled for 7/10/2025 at 8:30 am in Courtroom 4 of the Sonoma County Superior Court.
While generational trauma is prevalent in the Native American community, the Board at Ya-Ka-Ama took an important step by publicly denouncing Mr. Ortega. Sexual predators should never be welcome around our youth.
