Sonoma County Management Alerted Senior Leadership that it Was Illegal to Mandate EUA Covid Products - They Did it Anyways!

Equity Program Manager Candela & Health Program Manager Lobo informed Health Officer Mase and Equity Officer De La Cruz that they could not legally mandate EUA products

On February 22, 2021, Sonoma County Equity Program Manager Denia Candela sent the following email to several County leaders including former Equity Officer / Santa Rosa City Schools Trustee Alegria De La Cruz (my former boss). She stated: ‘Dr. Shende and Dr. Mase can confirm here, but it is my understanding that the vaccine cannot be required. Employers cannot force employees to take the vaccine’.

Within the same email thread, Public Health Program Manager Brittany Lobo stated: ‘because it is under Emergency Use Authorization, I do not believe anyone can be required to get the vaccine. Once it is officially approved by the FDA that may change’.

Equity Officer De La Cruz’s response was: ‘it may be a contract term in their contract…we should ask this question of the employers’.

The only fully FDA-approved COVID-19 vaccines are Comirnaty (Pfizer) and Spikevax (Moderna). Neither of these products have been manufactured or distributed for inoculation. The original formulas have remained under EUA this entire time.

On December 20, 2021, I sent the following email to the County’s Immunization Nurse:

Greetings,

Thank you very much for the prompt response. You are the first individual from the Sonoma County Public Health Office to actually take the time to respond to my inquiries. I have to disagree regarding the accuracy of the PCR tests. I received a false positive test result as of last Friday and I have at least 10 friends who received false positive test results within the past month. This is extremely concerning to me! These tests are most likely dysfunctional since they were initially purchased several months before the first COVID-19 case existed. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/china-purchased-mass-quantity-of-pcr-tests-months-before-first-reported-case-of-covid/ar-AAP8xNr. This entire pandemic could be a farce that was orchestrated by corrupt individuals in power such as Dr. Fauci/Chinese communists at the Wuhan Lab, but that could not possibly be true...

Per the FDA's attached approval letter for Comirnaty that was released on August 23, 2021, all pediatric studies were deferred in their entirety and are to be finalized in 2024 (at the earliest). Based on this information, under what grounds are we currently inoculating children?

Could your office please loop in Kaiser Permanente to clarify the availability of the Comirnaty COVID-19 vaccine in the United States? After my live chat conversation with Kaiser, I am quite concerned that folks are being forced by their employer to take the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine which still remains in EUA status. A drug which is considered experimental may not be legally mandated under federal law.

Federal law, Title 21 U.S.C. § 360bbb-3(e)(1)(A)(ii)(I-III) of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, states the following about products granted emergency authorization usage:
Individuals to whom the product is administered are informed—
(I) that the Secretary has authorized the emergency use of the product;
(II) of the significant known and potential benefits and risks of such use, and of the extent to which such benefits and risks are unknown; and
(III) of the option to accept or refuse administration of the product, of the consequences, if any, of refusing administration of the product, and of the alternatives to the product that are available and of their benefits and risks.

In recent weeks, U.S. Federal District Judge Allen Winsor of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida has ruled that Pfizer-BioNTech’s Wuhan coronavirus “vaccine” bearing emergency use authorization is not interchangeable with the company’s new Comirnaty injection, which was fully licensed by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration back in August. Since the two injections contain different ingredients and are manufactured in different ways, Judge Winsor said that they are legally not the same, and that the EUA one cannot be forced on people by the Department of Defense.

I have attached the Pfizer data provided from the initial vaccine clinical trials. Pfizer had previously stated that only a handful of deaths occurred during these trials. This is quite curious to me since their data shows there were over 1,200 deaths & 40,000+ serious adverse reactions within the first 2 months of the clinical trials. Any clarification on this would be appreciated since any other drug would have been immediately removed from the market by now.

On December 21, 2021, I received the following email from the County’s Immunization Nurse:

I echoed the concerns of Ms. Lobo and Ms. Candela for several years. I sent hundreds of emails to the attention of the County of Sonoma and neighboring local agencies which went unanswered.

Instead of speaking to my inquiries, the Department of Health Services added my name to their meeting agenda. Staff referred to me as an ‘anti-vaxxer’ for practicing my culture. As an East Indian woman, I do not utilize Western medicine or pharmaceuticals.

On January 11, 2022, the Department of Health Services Interim Director Tina Rivera sent me the following email. I shared a phone number for Dr. Mase which was provided to me by the County staff as a public record. Apparently, they are not well-versed in redacting records.

On February 25, 2022, County Communications Manager Paul Gullixson sent me the following email. He told me that I am ‘willfully misinformed’, but repeatedly could not (would not) answer my questions.

As my inquiries continued to go unanswered, former Sonoma County Health Director Tina Rivera informed Health Care Privacy & Security Officer Ken Tasseff that I was ‘relentless’ in my pursuit for answers.

Text messages exchanged by Sonoma County Supervisor James Gore and Equity Officer Alegria De La Cruz led me to believe that vaccination rates of farmworkers were potentially being leveraged in exchange for wine grower investments.

Former County Equity Officer Alegria De La Cruz’s husband, Martin Zuniga, was employed as an artist with Raizes Collective during the pandemic. The Collective was recognized by the CDC and received funding to promote the COVID-19 vaccine. Raizes Collective founder Isabel Lopez shared a mortgage with De La Cruz and her spouse. Ms. De La Cruz failed to report this source of income to the Fair Political Practices Commission until I reported the omission.

Equity Officer De La Cruz / Health Director Tina Rivera resigned in 2024, and received a severance package in lieu of suing the County.

According to the County of Sonoma’s 2020 & 2021 GASB31, an external investment pool included both Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson. The former Assistant Administrator for the County of Sonoma Maria Christina Rivera (current Administrator) served alongside her spouse, Jonathan Kadlec, Assistant Treasurer on The Sonoma County Public Financing Authority until he resigned during the pandemic. Treasurer Erick Roeser’s wife, Kimberly Roeser was hired as the Deputy Analyst & Chief of Procurement for the County’s Health Services department from October 2020 – May 2021.

Have County staff and our elected officials colluded to create ‘states of emergency’ for profit from taxpayer monies? You tell me…!
