Sonoma NAACP President Weaponizes Racism to Fund Equity Consulting Contracts at SRCS While Endangering Students
While the NAACP allegedly represents BIPOC voices, President Kirstyne Lange has repeatedly lied and shown hypocrisy to fulfill left-leaning agendas which promote her funding at Santa Rosa City Schools
Ms. Kirstyne Lange, founder of KAL Consulting, serves as the President of the Santa Rosa, Sonoma County, Unit #1074B of the The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP).
As the former Executive Assistant to the Board & Superintendent of Santa Rosa City Schools (SRCS), I did not agree with the equity narratives being forced upon staff, parents and students. The diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) agenda in Sonoma County did not seem valid, but rather provided equity consulting contracts for those affiliated with SRCS Trustees.
The NAACP was recruited by former SRCS Trustee Alegria De La Cruz to advocate against School Resource Officers’ (SROs) on campus, allegedly due to the school-to-prison pipeline. De La Cruz’s spouse’s (Mr. Martin Zuniga) nonprofit, Raizes Collective, works hand-in-hand with the NAACP to echo their political agendas.
On March 6, 2023, Ms. Lange issued the following statement on behalf of the NAACP:
Center the Youth
On behalf of the NAACP Santa Rosa – Sonoma branch, I would like to extend my deepest condolences to the Montgomery High School and Santa Rosa City Schools Community; students especially.
I want to invite the community to pause and breathe. Our community is hurting.
There are a lot of details that may never be known due to the nature of what occurred but what we can control is what follows. We need to center the student voices as they continue to express what they need.
As I continue to process the situation alongside the community. I must share that this situation hits home. Throughout my 7th – 12th grade education I experienced officers on my Jr. High campus that allowed regular ICE raids, and some students returned later on in my high school journey with many others unknown. My high school had 11 school resource officers in addition to 5 security guards. We wore our ID cards on lanyards, had metal detector entry, and a police substation across the street. With all this at play, I learned three things:
Their presence on campus did not decrease the (threat of) violence.
As a campus ASB Leader/athlete/AP course student, I still had negative engagement.
The campus climate didn’t shift until the administration did. The more they responded to our needs and took accountability, the culture shifted.
Locally, I’m seeing loud, pro law enforcement voices push for more police in schools and also, what looks like a coordinated effort by law enforcement agencies to seize this moment to amplify their presence on campuses. Time and again, when there are difficult moments, fear can push us towards carceral systems that disproportionately harm students of color and do not make us safer. The data show us this. Police are not clinical social workers or mental health professionals. They are not restorative justice facilitators, nor do they provide trauma informed interventions to violence. Police do not provide anti racism and anti bias training. Police are not special education advocates, bilingual facilitators, nor do they have cultural competence training. These are the things needed on our campuses. Not more policing.
Students are the most important stakeholders in guiding what happens next. They know what is needed on their campuses. They must be an integral part of creating an intentional school community where everyone feels safe and seen.
Join me in the call to form a student advisory council where our youth will have the space to bring forth their concerns, ideas, and be the stewards of redirection. The way in which this student council is selected will be key to what they produce.
Kirstyne Lange,
President NAACP Santa Rosa – Sonoma County Branch
When I began suspecting that Ms. Lange was a fraud, she blatantly lied to SRCS Superintendent Anna Trunnell, my former boss, in an effort to have me fired.
While Ms. Lange refused to respond to emails or phone calls, I attempted to converse with her at a public event. Rather than entertain the conversation, she and her friend immediately called for Santa Rosa Police Chief Cregan’s assistance. This was an odd response from a woman who supposedly wants to defund the police…
Since March 2021, Ms. Lange has served as a Board Member to Community Matters.
Community Matters is contracted with SRCS for restorative practices under the umbrella of mental health & counseling.
The Safe School Ambassadors Training & Support is operated by Community Matters at SRCS campuses.
Has Ms. Lange ever received a dime from the NAACP or Community Matters as an equity consultant who aligns with their political stance? NGO consulting contracts are not public record unless directly allocated through a local agency.
Ms. Lange sent the following email to former SRCS Superintendent Trunnell on June 24, 2022. I was only aware of this letter because I filed a public records request about myself.
I attempted to reach out to Ms. Lange through multiple social media channels, but she chose to block me instead of conversing.
I informed her that I did not attend the 2022 Juneteenth Event. I was in Vallejo/Oakland that day, and provided date and time stamped videos confirming my location.
Apparently, Ms. Lange had me confused with a white woman who looks absolutely nothing like me. The woman who attended the June 18, 2022 Santa Rosa Juneteenth Festival emailed Superintendent Trunnell and Ms. Lange the following, but neither woman has responded to me to this date.
Hello Ms. Kirstyne Lange,
True Protection of Black Americans, P.O.C., Humanity and our Children
cc: Pastor Robert Harper - The Master's House Christian Church, Emilio Martinez - Attorney at Law, Ms. Adina Flores - Executive Adminstrator and Ms. Anna Trunnell - Superintendent of Santa Rosa City Schools
Please take some time to intellectually and spiritually reflect upon the meaning of "True Protection of Black Americans, People of Color, Humanity and our Children" and refrain from your false accusations of the young lady, Ms. Adina Flores as well as her fiance: a Black man and father of 2 children, who was terminated from his employment and housing in Santa Rosa for refusing an experimental Covid injection! Adina and I are both local Publc Servants who ALSO refused to go along with the pure evil of the coerced, Covid experimental and genocidal injections upon Black Americans, People of Color, Humanity and our Children -- and were terminated from our respective positions of employment and careers for our acts of moral conscience in the face of governmental illegality to the point of fascism.
My brilliant spiritual advisor who supported my written Religious Objection to the fraudulent Covid agenda: the Covid experimental injections, the masking, distancing, mind-control isolation techniques, lockdowns and the toxic swabs and false Covid testing, pushed by officials in the County of Sonoma, is local Pastor Robert Harper of The Master's House Christian Church. My visionary California attorney is the brilliant Emilio Rene Dorame-Martinez who is currently representing my lawsuit -- and many other cases, incuding those of Public Health Nurses -- against the County of Sonoma and other corporations over their extreme violation of the California Medical Information Act (a law that was put into place thanks to AIDS Activists of the 80s), as well as other employment, privacy and ethical violations. Tangentially, several county officials named as defendants have suddenly resigned and left the county in the last few months.
Whereas Ms. Adina Flores and her fiance were not in town that Saturday, I attended the Santa Rosa "Juneteenth Community Festival" event on June 18, 2022, because several of my friends and church colleagues performed as vocalists and musicians on stage that day - volunteering their talents and soulfulness for the cause of celebrating human liberation! In addition to supporting my dear friends, I expressed my alarming concern and dismay to a few of the festival organizers and the staff at the county's Covid injection "tent" that they would be pushing these shots on Black people, especially the children, at any "festival" let alone one that is supposed to be celebrating liberation from slavery. To this day I am wondering if these festival organizers accepted funding from those who have interests in pushing the shots and testing on a population of attendees with a complete lack of informed consent (no list of ingredients or liability information provided). The county workers at the tent admitted that they were there just "following orders" and I sensed a lack of pride. A few of the festival staff agreed exactly with my concerns and were also unhappy to see the county Covid shot tent there (a large area taken in fact). Then there was an overweight middle-aged county health department manager with a badge on her hip (I have the photo), going around and up to every festival attendee handing them Covid fliers and encouraging folks to come over to the county tent, essentially trying to sell the experimental Covid shots to everyone in the crowd.
I was never asked to leave the festival, never "escorted out" as you have fabricated and accused in a letter about the brilliant city and schools employee and researcher, Ms. Adina Flores -- likely causing her employment termination. Why? I'm sure there were others besides me who voiced concern about the inappropriateness of pushing fear-based, rushed, experimental, bio-tech injections and testing at a Juneteenth festival for Black Americans here. I also recall discussing this alarming decision with a sympathetic organizer ahead of the festival by phone - including asking her what she knew about the Tuskegee Experiment and how it was that they voted to allow the county's presence there to promote experimental biotech injections. Who is liable for the injuries and deaths?
The NAACP table - located directly across from the Covid shot tent, was also very concerning that day, giving away on-display Covid-19 home tests which are not only fraudulent, the swabs contain nano-contaminants that damage the internal nasal membranes, especially of children. Notably the NAACP was giving away these same fraudulent Covid tests last week, in fact, at a "Community Health Fair" on April 8, 2023 in Roseland - a low-income Latino neighborhood. I ask you: Why?
As a suddenly terminated employee having a perfect supervision record at the County of Sonoma's Public Guardian Office, who witnessed their internal lies and the highly disturbing facts around the Covid agenda, testing, and vaccines, I implore you to stop your organization's participation in this fraud, carnage and crimes against Humanity (people of every hue). And repent.
One of my best friends, Ms. Rose Conner, performed in a reggae band that sunny day in Santa Rosa at the Juneteenth Community Festival 2022 and she will be deeply missed this year ...and forever... Why? Because at the young age of 43, she sadly passed away - suddenly in her sleep - 3 months after Juneteenth, after being fully Covid shot injected to keep her employment as a teacher and caseworker for a local nonprofit homeless agency. And she is among many we've lost locally (Blues musician and black man, Levi Lloyd, posted about his receiving a covid shot booster then died suddenly in his sleep, and others we have lost including the teenage boy age 15 in July 2021 - County coroner and SRPD fully aware, as well as many other cases).
Reflect seriously upon all of this intellectually and spiritually - the true protection of black americans, people of color, humanity and our children, as well as "liberation from slavery" and Juneteenth 2023. And Do The Right Thing - yourself and the organization, please.
While the minutes from yesterday’s Santa Rosa Council Meeting have not yet been published, I believe that Council voted in favor to approve the proposed resolution and Agreement for School Resource Officers Between City of Santa Rosa and Santa Rosa City Schools District to relaunch the School Resource Officer (SRO) program and to negotiate with SRCS related cost sharing in support of the program.
I have personally connected with several of the SROS and they are awesome role models for our students. I am grateful for our Santa Rosa Police Department for keeping our community safe.
The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory for ever and ever. Amen. -Timothy 4:18
