At yesterday's California Working Families Party California D12 Assembly Candidate Forum, Candidate Jackie Elward, a Rohnert Park Councilwoman, expressed she is afraid of being deported by ICE.
My understanding is that Ms. Elward has chosen to be a puppet for Caucasian liberals, as she weaponizes fear mongering tactics and emotions to gain voters.
She repeatedly touted herself as the only person of color running in the 2026 election for the open seat. Aside from her race, I would like to better understand why Ms. Elward feels she is qualified to serve as an Assemblywoman. I truly do not give one iota about her race when she clearly doesn’t advocate for her own people of the Congo.
As a local representative, Ms. Elward has the opportunity to genuinely advocate for black lives in America, and abroad, but she refuses. When her opponent, Ms. Holli Thier, claimed ‘black lives matter’ at last night’s Forum, I was more inclined to believe Ms. Thier than Ms. Elward.
Congolese Assembly Candidate Supports Slave Labor in Push for EV
Rohnert Park Councilwoman Jackie Elward, a Congolese immigrant, is running for CA Assembly District 12 in 2026 to represent Marin & Sonoma Counties.
Ms. Elward’s bio for Les Enfants Baobab states: Jackie was born and raised in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and recently became a citizen of the United States.
Despite the fact that Ms. Elward is a citizen of the United States, she claimed she sought protection from Congressman Mike Thompson’s Office.
I laughed for the bulk of the Forum, as it was 100% left-leaning indoctrination. Constituents were not allowed to ask any questions. Candidates appeared to be given the questions in advance, as many already had notes to reference. I was possibly the only conservative-leaning constituent present.
